What the service does

Maskbox lets you create disposable email aliases on maskbox.net that forward incoming mail to your real inbox, so you can avoid handing out your real address.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Maskbox to:

• send, receive, or distribute spam, malware, or illegal content;
• harass, defraud, or impersonate others;
• evade bans or create accounts on other services in violation of their terms;
• abuse the service in any way that harms maskbox.net's reputation or other users.

We may suspend or remove aliases or accounts that violate these rules, to protect deliverability for everyone.

Beta & availability

Maskbox is provided as-is, with no guarantee of uptime or that every message will be delivered. It's early software — don't rely on it as your only channel for critical mail (banking, legal, account recovery). Forwarding may be delayed or interrupted.

Limits

During beta, accounts are limited in how many aliases they can create. These limits exist to keep the service healthy and may change.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Maskbox is not liable for any damages arising from use of the service, including missed, delayed, or undelivered mail.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The date above reflects the latest version.
